Fan Festival – Local Talent Recruitment

OVERVIEW

This summer is Houston's time to shine on the world's stage – and it could be yours as well! We are searching for incredible and diverse local talent to perform in front of an international audience during the biggest sporting event to ever come to the city.

 

Through a video submission and in-person callback process, we will select the performances to take the stage during the 39 days of FIFA Fan Festival™.

TIMELINE AND PROCESS

JANUARY

ROUND ONE OF VIDEO SUBMISSIONS OPEN

Judging criteria includes video of a live performance and availability during FIFA Fan Festival™ schedule

FEBRUARY

SUBMISSIONS CLOSE AT THE END OF 30-DAY WINDOW AND REVIEWED BY HOST COMMITTEE

Submissions will be scored with a rubric to rank quality of performance for callbacks

MARCH

CALLBACK INVITES SENT OUT

APRIL

IN-PERSON CALLBACK EVENTS

SHARE YOUR PERFORMANCE VIDEO(S)

By submitting an entry to the contest and in case the submitted poster is selected to be used by the Host City of FIFA WORLD CUP 2026, the participant agrees to assign all rights, title, and interest in the submitted poster, including any copyrights, to Fédération Internationale de Football Association, located FIFA-Strasse 20 P.O.Box 8044 Zurich, Switzerland (“FIFA”). The participant acknowledges and agrees that FIFA shall have the exclusive and perpetual right to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the poster for any purposes related to FIFA WORLD CUP 2026 and any FIFA activities without any further compensation or approval required from the participant. The participant further agrees to take any actions necessary, including signing any additional documents, to confirm FIFA's ownership of the poster and to assist in securing any necessary intellectual property protections.
