FIFA WORLD CUP 2026™ HOST COMMITTEE TALENT SEARCH CONTEST

OFFICIAL RULES & TERMS
 

OVERVIEW

The FIFA Fan Festival Talent Search (“Competition”) is a multi-discipline talent competition open to performers including, but not limited to, music, dance, comedy, spoken word, and specialty acts.


The Competition consists of:

  1. Online video submission auditions, and

  2. In-person callback auditions for selected participants.
     

ELIGIBILITY

The Competition is open to individuals who:
 

  • Are at least 18 years of age at the time of submission (or have parent/guardian consent if under 18),

  • Are legally eligible to perform in the United States,

  • Are available to attend in-person callback auditions and the live event on dates designated by FIFA World Cup 26 Houston™ Host City Committee
     

VIDEO SUBMISSION & AGREEMENT

Participants must submit an audition video through the official submission platform by the stated deadline.

By submitting a video, participants expressly agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

Submission does not guarantee selection, advancement, or participation in the live event.

 

Organizer is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, or corrupted submissions.
 

SELECTION & CALLBACK AUDITIONS

Callback invitations are issued at the sole discretion of FIFA World Cup 26 Houston™ Host City Committee.

  • Organizer is not obligated to provide feedback,

  • Failure to attend a scheduled callback may result in disqualification,

  • All selection and advancement decisions are final and binding.
     

NO GUARANTEE OF PERFORMANCE OR PLACEMENT

Participation in any phase of the Competition does not guarantee a performance opportunity at FIFA Fan Festival™
 

PERFORMANCE COMMITMENT

By submitting a video, participants agree that if selected:

  • They will appear and perform at the official event on a date selected by FIFA World Cup 26 Houston™ Host City Committee,

  • Failure to perform may result in disqualification and replacement,

  • Participants are responsible for their own travel, lodging, equipment, and all expenses related to their performance.
     

USE OF NAME, IMAGE & LIKENESS

By submitting a video or participating in the Competition, participants grant FIFA World Cup 26 Houston™ Host City Committee its partners, affiliates, licensees, sponsors, and assigns an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to, reproduce, distribute, display, create derivative works from, and otherwise use their name, image, likeness, voice, biographical information, performance, and submitted materials for promotional, marketing, broadcast, livestream, and commercial purposes and archival purposes in any and all media, without additional compensation, additional notification, or permission, unless prohibited by law. Participant acknowledges that the organizer is not obligated to use any participant content and the organizer will not return any submitted materials.
 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CONTENT RIGHTS

Participants represent and warrant that their performance is original or properly licensed and does not infringe on any third-party rights.

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless FIFA World Cup 26 Houston™ Host City Committee from claims arising from submitted or live performances.
 

CODE OF CONDUCT

Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant for unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or unprofessional behavior or violation of venue or event rules.
 

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE

Participants assume all risks associated with performance and attendance and release FIFA World Cup 26 Houston™ Host City Committee and affiliated parties from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
 

EVENT MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION

Organizer reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the Competition or event for any reason, including force majeure or safety concerns.
 

GOVERNING LAW

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
 

ACCEPTANCE OF RULES

Submission of an audition video constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules.
Do not submit a video if you do not agree.
